YouTube money calculator
YouTube does not pay per view and publishes no rate. What it does give you is your RPM in Studio. Put that in — as a range, because it moves — and the arithmetic is the easy part.

Per month · per year

$4,500 – $18,000 / year
Estimates from your inputs only. YouTube’s published commitments — the 45% Shorts share, the Partner Program bar, the payment thresholds — are in the guide, each with its source.
How to pick your RPM range
- Open YouTube Studio → Analytics → Revenue and read RPM for the last 28 days and the last 365 days.
- Use the lower of the two as the low end and the higher as the high end. A channel that has not monetized yet has no RPM; borrow a range from a creator in the same topic and country, and treat the answer as a guess.
- Re-run after any big change in audience country or long-form/Shorts mix — that is what moves RPM.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I find my RPM?+
YouTube Studio → Analytics → Revenue. RPM is revenue per 1,000 views after YouTube’s share, across all revenue sources. It is the only per-thousand figure that is true for your channel.
Why a range instead of one number?+
Because RPM is not a rate YouTube sets. It moves with the audience’s country, the topic, the season and the mix of long-form and Shorts. A range brackets reality; a single number pretends.
Does this include YouTube’s cut?+
RPM already has it taken out. If you want to start from what advertisers pay (CPM), remember only a share of that reaches you and not every view shows an ad — RPM is the honest input.
What about Shorts?+
Shorts ad revenue is pooled per country and divided by engaged views before the 45% share applies, so a Shorts-heavy channel usually has a lower RPM than its long-form RPM. Use your blended RPM from Studio.

One clip, three surfaces
The same video to Shorts, Reels and TikTok at once
Upload the clip once; the composer sends it to YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and TikTok in one go, each with its own title and caption, at the time you set or the next free queue slot.
Schedule, queue, or repeat
Pick a time, drop it in recurring slots, or recycle a post every few weeks. Best times to post come from your own history.
Write once, tailor per platform
One caption; each platform gets its own card with its real limit, a title where one is needed, a first comment where the platform allows it.
Media fitted per platform
An image outside a platform's ratio is padded with a blurred copy of itself. Carousels where allowed, a PDF as a LinkedIn document.
