How to see your YouTube subscribers

Checked against the sources below on 2026-08-29.

You can see a list of your recent subscribers, but not all of them, and not by design flaw: a viewer decides whether their subscriptions are public, and YouTube’s default is private. So the list you get is the subset who opted in, from the last 28 days.

Where the list is

  1. Sign in to YouTube Studio (studio.youtube.com).
  2. On the Dashboard, find the "Recent subscribers" card.
  3. Click See all. The card expands into a list; at the top you can pick a timeframe and sort by each subscriber’s own subscriber count.

How to see your subscribers on your phone

  1. YouTube app: tap You (bottom right) → View channel → under your channel name, tap "See your subscribers". The list is sorted by recency and only you, as the owner, can see it.
  2. YouTube Studio app: Analytics → Overview → the Realtime card shows the live subscriber count; tap it for the detail.

Where the total count is, and why it is rounded

The number on your channel page is what the public sees, and YouTube shortens it once you pass 1,000: under 1,000 it updates on every subscriber; from 1,000 to 9,999 it shows a rounded figure that moves in steps, and the steps grow with the channel (every 1,000 new subscribers at 100,000–999,999, every 10,000 at 1–10 million). The exact count is always in YouTube Studio — Analytics → Audience on desktop, the Realtime card in the Studio app.

Who appears, who does not

YouTube lists the conditions plainly. A subscriber shows up if they chose to make their subscriptions public and they subscribed within the last 28 days. A subscriber does not show up if their subscriptions are private, or if their account is suspended or flagged as spam.

The privacy switch is on the viewer’s side: Settings → Privacy → "Keep all my subscriptions private", and it is on by default. A private subscriber still counts in your total; they are just not named. The one exception YouTube notes: if someone joins a subscriber-only live chat or comments where comments are limited to subscribers, other viewers can see they are subscribed.

If the number and the list disagree

They always will. The total on your channel page counts everyone; the list names the public, recent ones. YouTube also says, in the same help article, that it has investigated every "YouTube unsubscribed my viewers" report it received and found no case where it had — most were viewers still subscribed whose Home tab simply did not surface the channel’s newest video. The Subscriptions feed, not Home, is the complete list on the viewer’s side.

Want the full count over time rather than names? YouTube Studio → Analytics → Audience shows subscribers gained and lost by day, which is the number that actually tells you whether a video worked.

Frequently asked questions

Can I see everyone who subscribed to me?+

No. Only subscribers who made their subscriptions public appear, and only from the last 28 days. Private subscribers are counted in your total but not named.

Why does the list show fewer people than my subscriber count?+

Because the default privacy setting for subscriptions is private. Most viewers never change it, so most subscribers are counted but not listed.

Can other people see my subscribers?+

No. The recent subscribers list is visible only to the channel owner in YouTube Studio or the YouTube app.

One composer, eleven platforms

The guides sit next to a scheduler that posts the same thing to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn and six more — each version fitted to where it lands, at the time you set.

Write once, tailor per platform

One caption; each platform gets its own card with its real limit, a title where one is needed, a first comment where the platform allows it.

Schedule, queue, or repeat

Pick a time, drop it in recurring slots, or recycle a post every few weeks. Best times to post come from your own history.

Media fitted per platform

An image outside a platform's ratio is padded with a blurred copy of itself. Carousels where allowed, a PDF as a LinkedIn document.
